About Us

Whether you’re new to homeschooling, with or without a community, you're here because you're looking for something to meet YOUR family’s needs in YOUR schooling endeavors.

Our desire at Legacy is to offer a different kind of homeschool program that does not exist in our area.  Around us, we have academic based programs and elective based programs, but nothing in between. That’s where we come in!

At Legacy, our programs are a balance of academics and electives to meet your family’s needs and keep your kids invested in their education! It is important that your students are inspired to be creative and seek out their gifts, passions, and talents bestowed upon them by their Heavenly Creator, God.

Each grade level will consist of 8 students. It is possible that some grade levels will be combined to fill a class if necessary.

Do you offer monthly payments for tuition?

Yes! Tuition can be paid monthly over 30 weeks and can be paid with a credit card.

Do you offer additional focuses aside from typical core subjects that will help my student make an impact in their world?

Yes! All grade levels study Christian worldview, and civics. In Jr. High and High School, we add in etiquette, logic, financial literacy, business, and entrepreneurship studies, to name a few.

Is this a drop off program?

Drop-off will only be considered for high school students. Legacy is a cooperative. We thrive on community and are only operational with parent involvement, participation, and presence.

Is this a school and are grades issued?

We are a cooperative program created to enhance and complement your homeschooling efforts.

Our teachers (Legacy Leaders) on community day are our parents.

We are not a school and do not provide or hold student records of any kind.

Will there be childcare for ages 0-3?

Yes! It is important to support our growing families.

What style of learning/teaching is encouraged?

We promote a classical approach to teaching and learning. It is so important kids learn early on to think deeply and independently; to know what they believe and why.

Is there a set curriculum?

Part of being in community at Legacy is having the opportunity to engage in rich studies together. Our 7th-12th graders use a set curriculum to ensure quality and consistent engagement and inspiration.

We also value freedom of choice in our elementary years where kids are developing at different rates and with different needs. In elementary, only 4th-6th grade will use a set curriculum for grammar and composition.

What key opportunities are available to help my student improve his or her public speaking skills?

We will exhort students to participate in endeavors like science fair, mock trials, speech, debate, vocational projects and community outreach.
